Laut Jati Hai duniya gam hamara dekhakar,
jaise Laut jati hai lehren kinara dekhkar,
tu kandha na dena mere janaze ko,
kahi fir Zinda na ho Jau tera sahara dekhkar
Usne kaha…..
Usne kaha…..
Ye ishq nahi aasa, Itna to samajh lejiye…
Ek Aag ka dariya hai, aur doob ke jaana hai ….
Maine kaha…
masoom si mohabbat ka bus itna sa fasana hai..
kagaj ki haveli hai, baarish ka zamaana hai..
kya shart-e-mohabbat hai, kya shart-e-zamana hai..
awaz bhi jakhmi hai aur wo geet bhi gana hai..
uss per utrne ki umeed bahut kam hai..
kashti bhi puraani hai, tufaan bhi aana hai..
samajhe ya na samjhe wo andaaz-e-mohabbat ka..
bheegi hui ankho se ek sher sunaana hai..
bholi si ada, koi fir ishq ki jid par hai..
fir aag ka dariya hai.. aur doob hi jana hai …
Unki
Unki mohabbat ka nishaan abhi baaki hai, Naam lab par hai par jaan abhi baaki hai, Kya hua jo dekh kar muhh pher lete hai, Tassali hai chehre ki pehchan abhi baaki hai.
Tamanna koi bhi mere dil ki poori na hui, Chahat ka koi afsana na bana, Aaj phir chali gayi zindagi nazron ke saamne se, Aur usse baat karne ka koi bahana na bana.
Ho sakta hai humne anjaane mey apko kabhi rula diya, Aapne duniya k kehne pe hume bhula dia, Hum to vaise bhi akele the, Kya hua agar aapne ehsaas dila diya??
starlight starbright lyrics
(Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight
Wish I may, wish I might have the wish I wish tonight)
Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight
I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight.
Shine down starlight,
Please help to make this our night.
The one I love will be here soon,
Please shine above and bring the moon.
If he should take me riding far away from the city
Cover me with your magic glow,
Make him think I’m oh so pretty.
Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight.
Can’t you hear my plea to you?
Won’t you make my dreams come true?
Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight
Can’t you hear my plea to you?
Won’t you make my dreams come true?
(First star I see tonight) Oooh that pretty starlight
(First star I see tonight) Hey look at that starlight
(First star I see tonight) Oh what a pretty star.
starlight starbright song
starlight starbright song
Starlight, starbright, first star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight.
That always may your love be shining bright
Just like that first star that I see tonight.
Star peace, green peace, surely the wars will cease,
We’ll find a way, there’ll come a day,
when people every where will say
Forever let us put an end to war
Upon this one world that we’re working for.
Star song, love song, I hope it won’t be long
Before you’re home and in my arms;
then we’ll both be safe from harm
And then we’ll know our love is shining bright
Just like that first star I see tonight.
The Lantern Festival Impressions
It’s a long time ever since my last English blog. I won’t excuse myself by saying I’m not in the right mood. If you keep in the mood of doing nothing, you won’t be in the mood of doing anything. It’s hard to know what really interests you till you start running it.
The firecrackers of Chinese New Year died away on the 15th of the first lunar month. There’re three impressive Lantern Festivals in my memory. The first one was in my childhood, when Mom and I visited the newly decorated park in the daytime and I even hugged a red carp lantern with my arms. However, by night the street was crammed with people so we couldn’t push our way into the lantern fair. Beyond the park gate Dad bought me a flashlight as a solace. Glow sticks not popular (or not invented yet), the flashlight was a novelty then, with long plastic fibers fixed on the battery-run torch and as if a bunch of flowers brilliant in the dark night.
The second unforgettable Lantern Festival was plain actually. Dad went to a relative’s funeral; Mom made me a bowl of tasty instant noodle as dinner. I didn’t eat it up because it was too spicy. It appeared the last time I tasted peppery food; afterwards I’ve quitted pepper owing to my eczema.
During the final days of 2009 Chinese New Year, I caught a bad cold. It took half a month to recover. What I remember most is parent’s gentle care, the English dictionary I studied intermittently when feeling better from coughs and headaches, and three reviews of a TV-drama and a handcraft all finished within that leisure period.
This Lantern Festival I spent at home alone. But in other ways, it could avert my mind from the miserable domestic atmosphere so I’ve gradually regained peace at heart. I watched the CCTV Gala quietly with noisy fireworks outside which brightened the night sky. I even wish I could do the cooking, writing, reading and watching in this serene and lonely way through a lifetime, except that it’s just the interval before a stronger storm.
It seems every Lantern Festival sparkled inside met was of a bit regret. But I know it’s the imperfection that makes days precious. Having taken farewell of the bleak Spring Festival, in the new spring I’ve picked myself up to work at new stuff, join in Sedgehead’s English lessons on Skype at weekends, and daily read The House on Mango Street. I’m always in love with a poem in the novel:
I want to be
like the waves on the sea,
like the clouds in the wind,
but I’m me.
One day I’ll jump
out of my skin.
I’ll shake the sky
like a hundred violins.
